Hello world!! I'm Uchenna, A human being and a Software Engineer. I'm passionate about buiding digital products and I enjoy solving problems using technology.
I have been working actively in the IT industry for over 6 years developing, managing and scaling software solutions in the e-Health, e-Governance, e-Tax as well as the ECommerce space.

I currently lead the Web Service Team at Mekio-Tech Digital where I am directly responsible for creating and updating APIs, applications and revenue systems for our growing clientele while also advising the company on current techological innovations.

My work routine includes but not limited to:

  • 01. Understanding project requirements.
  • 02. Meeting with relevant stakeholders to map out project deliverables.
  • 03. Working closely with the product team to implement project deliverables using the best-fit tech stack.
  • 04. Provisioning, configuring and maintaining Cloud Infrastructures.
  • 05. Writing automation and configuration scripts for various processes.
  • 06. Building CI/CD pipelines
  • 07. Interfacing and integrating with Payment Service Providers and other third-party APIs
  • 08. Building custom APIs and bespoke applications for clients.

When I'm not coding, you can find me either looking up new blockbuster Movies or surfing the internet for fun.

I love simplicity, team work, staying indoors and keeping things DRY. Moreso, I am very particular about keeping to industry standards and best practices. I believe in changing the world - one code at a time.

  1. mysql-query-util is a MySQL Query Utility module for NodeJS. This package handles MySQL connections, prepares MySQL queries and runs the query while also returning a promised-based response to the user. The package is available on npm. See more on github

  2. EasyBuy is a demo ecommerce application built with flutter and firebase for ios and android. The app consists of the following screens:

  3. FindHome is a unique property listing website where landlords and property managers can list their property either for rent, lease or outright purchase. The platform reduces the stress and hassles of locating homes and other property alike for potential tenants.

    The requirements were as follows:-

    • 01. Property managers/owners should be able to signup on the platform.
    • 01. Dashboard for property managers/owners to upload their property details for listing.
    • 01. Potential tenants and users should be able to search for properties based on location, price, and other description.

    Tech Stack:VueJS(Nuxt), Firebase. The solution uses Firebase as the backeend, Firestore for data storage, and VueJS(Nuxt) for the frontend. Nuxt was preferred because of Server Side Rendering.
